Thuya is a biblical tree from cedar family, exclusively native to Western Atlas region of North Africa. It has a beautiful scent that is similar to cedar and pine. Burls, or hearts of the tree, how locals like to call them, are underground parts of the tree that are used because of their unique grain and colors.
